Given all the fuss over the Russia/China veto of the UNSC resolution on Syria (“disgusting”, “outraged” etc), check out the number of vetoes by the US over just Palestine: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/UN/usvetoes.html.
Moreover, the only time there has been a triple veto, it was over sanctions on apartheid South Africa (with the UK and Canada of course).

I reposted the map and was criticized for suggesting that the installations were actually bases. It was said that many of the installation were really listening posts. I know that it becomes a debate over semantics but I wonder if you could be clear as to the kinds of bases that are suggested in the map.
