“You claim that the ‘water problem is almost over, there are water stations everywhere’ what the hell does that mean? Water stations? Are you really implying that water stations is the solution to resolving the pollution of the natural streams of a sovereign country. So it is acceptable to pollute a countries’ rivers so long as you can sell them water, import water for them and make them dependent on foreigners for something that should naturally come from their national geographical boundaries….” –AyitiisAfrica at http://bit.ly/16kEXIv

AyitiisAfrica – 7 hours ago `Reply to “SheIsCrazy”. To think, one has a screen name simply to respond to a post almost paints a picture of the ideological war that poor and oppressed peoples of the world must wage and are waging against the Western imperialist agenda.

I understand that the post is simply a comment, however, you did a poor job of criticizing the points that Ezili Danto lays out.

More specifically, you comments lack any substance.

You claim that there are “thousands of projects already built in Haiti”. Well what are these projects, when were they built and who stands to reap the greatest benefit from these projects? I have also been to Haiti consistently every year since 2007 yet you have not explained with all of these projects, why are there still 100s of thousands people still living in tents yet luxury hotels are being built by Clinton and his cronies. Will you at least acknowledge this contradiction?

Approximately 8,000 Haitians have died and 650,000 are sick from the United Nations imported Cholera epidemic which even Bill Clinton Admitted was the fault of the UN. This epidemic is being called the worst cholera epidemic in recent history. Yet the United Nations is still not held accountable for these deaths nor do they even accept responsibility. However, this same United Nations can spent $48 million dollars for private security since they realize that the masses are aware of the UN culpability in Haiti’s destabilization since the coup against Aristide in 2004 to the present. Nevertheless I am sure your position is that the United Nations intervention, American intervention, Foreign NGO’s are all necessary for Haiti development because Haitians can’t do it themselves.

You also failed to refute her claims regarding the US policy on Haiti Rice and as AfroCarib509 stated the “illegal mining permits”. You claim that the “water problem is almost over, there are water stations everywhere” what the hell does that mean? Water stations? Are you really implying that water stations is the solution to resolving the pollution of the natural streams of a sovereign country. So it is acceptable to pollute a countries’ rivers so long as you can sell them water, import water for them and make them dependent on foreigners for something that should naturally come from their national geographical boundaries.

It is clear to most SANE people, Ezili Danto being one of them, that foreign domination and intervention and a home county’s alliance with these foreigners is nothing more than the new colonialism or simply a continuation of old colonialism with a new face. Neocolonialism is a problem that African countries as well as Caribbean countries have consistently face throughout modern history.

It is not clear whether you are Haitian, White European or simply of African Descent, but to turn a blind eye to the historic impact of Western foreign policies and interventions in Haiti is to be either ignorant of Haiti’s history or you are a willing tool of the neocolonialist and their elitist agenda. And if you are a willing tool for the enemies of African people then the struggling masses of Haitians can expect you to run behind the private security firms (mercenaries and terrorists) that the imperialist countries along with the UN have been paying millions of dollars to destabilize and secure the natural resources of these same poor countries.

Ezili Danto is unashamedly Pro-African as you call it because the plight of Haitians is the same as the plight of Africans worldwide as they are constantly living in insecurity, fear, threat of death from warfare, disease, lack nutrition etc and any student of history will undoubtedly conclude that foreign interests have always been paramount to the interest of the well being of African people no matter where they live whether in Africa, Haiti, United States or anywhere in the world. You call her crazy because you have bought into and are comfortable with the “Western Savior” paradigm which is eclipsed by her passion for her people in Haiti and around the world who suffer and struggle daily under European Western ideological, political and military domination.

It is also clear that you are not ignorant as you referenced the fact that Ezili Danto “publishes garbage online”. This leads me to believe that you have read her posts and articles which are based on fact and sound analysis and even after acquiring this information, for you to still believe that foreigners are the answer to Haiti’s problems leads me to conclude that you are nothing more that one of the destabilizing tools whose ultimate aim will be to further deepen the crisis in Haiti to the benefit of your Western Masters.

AfroCarib509 – July 07, 2013 12:10 pm SheisCrazy, I’m terribly sorry to read this exchange. For the record, yes there are water stations and money being spent, but where is this water coming from and how long before it is tainted with Cholera? Secondly, there are a plethora of projects that were commissioned under Preval that are now coming to completion, just as the governments before and so will it be after Martelly’s term expires. Clinton was brave enough to admit his failures towards his trade policies that negatively impacted Haitïan farmers. Why are you so reluctant to stay on subject and defend the article’s points such as the illegal mining permits that haven’t gone before parliament and if not controlled will destroy the ecosystem of the land? It is best to debate constructively, then start up with political BS. Respectfully – Jean L
