Raja Shehadeh is a writer and lawyer. He was one of the founders of the pioneering human rights organization, Al Haq, the West Bank affiliate of the International Commission of Jurists.

He is the author of several books about international law, human rights and the Middle East including Palestinian Walks, Notes on a Vanishing Landscape, which has won this year’s Orwell Award. Raja lives in Ramallah in the Israeli Occupied West Bank.

Copies of Raja Shehadeh’s award winning book ‘Palestinian Walks, Notes on a Vanishing Landscape’ will be on sale.
