My friend Blanca sent me this from Havana:

Here with a NY artist friend for the Havana Biennial. Amazing the spirit of the people, this is the healthiest country I’ve ever been in, spiritually and from the heart. People of color especially are empowered, comfortable in their own skins, no internalized oppression. And especially among the poor. Staying in old Havana, a very working class neighborhood. I am amazed. Don’t wanna leave, return to Babylon.
