The madness of King Trump

Monday, 6 April 2026 — Al Mayadeen English

At the opening of the 2026 White House Easter Egg Roll, US President Donald Trump justified the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran, claiming it “could end very quickly” if Tehran “do[es] what they have to do,” while alleging that Washington has already achieved a “total regime change.”

Trump further alleged that “the people that we’re negotiating with now… are much more reasonable than the lunatics that you had,” adding, “You can call it what you want, but I call it regime change.”

Framing the war as centered on Iran’s nuclear program, he insisted, “The war is about one thing, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” while boasting, “We are obliterating their country.”

When asked about the legality of targeting Iran’s infrastructure, he dismissed concerns by stating, “because they’re animals,” underscoring his increasingly aggressive rhetoric surrounding the war on Iran.

Trump further warned that if Iran “doesn’t say uncle… they’ll have no bridges. They’ll have no power plants. They’ll have no anything.. I won’t go further because there are other things that are worse than those two.”

The president blatantly said that if it were up to him, he’d “take the oil because it’s there for the taking,” taking it up a notch and said, “There’s not a thing they can do about it.”

Trump also claimed widespread party support, saying, “MAGA loves what I’m doing… 100% support,” contrary to public statements made by Republican officials.
