20-year-old Shaaban al-Dalou and his mother were tragically killed, burned alive after Israeli airstrikes targeted tents near Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

Shaaban was not just a victim of “Israel’s” relentless genocide; he was a promising software engineering student who remained committed to his studies despite the constant bombings. He had also memorized the entire Quran.

Just days before his tragic death, Shaaban filmed a short video from Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, where he described the intense suffering of his family. The video, which went viral, highlighted their displacement, the freezing cold they endured, and how they were forced to live in a fragile tent under the relentless Israeli assault.

Shaaban had previously survived a massacre on October 6, when Israeli forces attacked a mosque outside the same hospital, killing 20 Palestinians in another brutal attack.
