New UN report details accounts of Palestinian women and children subjected to the most heinous forms of sexual abuse, filmed and shared online by Israeli soldiers for their own gratification.

In the annals of human depravity, the atrocities committed by the Israeli state against the Palestinian people stand as a testament to the darkest impulses of Western society — a grotesque amalgamation of capitalism, colonialism, and racism. A new United Nations report, spanning 49 pages of harrowing detail, lays bare the shocking extent of these crimes, revealing a systematic campaign of sexual, reproductive, and gender-based violence that has turned the occupied territories into a living hell.
Weapons of Pleasure
The report, titled “More than a human can bear: Israel’s systematic use of sexual, reproductive, and other forms of gender-based violence since 7 October 2023,” and released about six months after a similar 24-page UN report that garnered no impact or coverage, is more than just an indictment of a rogue state; it is a mirror reflecting the moral bankruptcy of a society that has lost its way.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), under the guise of ‘defense’, have perpetrated unspeakable horrors upon Palestinian women and children, using rape and sexual violence as weapons of war and domination. Or perhaps, more accurately, as weapons of pleasure, considering Israel’s glaring obsession with rape and child abuse.
The hypocrisy of Israel is starkly evident as it uses unfounded rape allegations to vilify its victims, the Palestinians, while actively engaging in a disturbing campaign of systematic child rape. The IOF’s actions are not isolated incidents but part of a systematic campaign of terror designed to satisfy their insatiable hunger for the sexual abuse of helpless victims. The report details accounts of Palestinian children subjected to the most heinous forms of sexual violence, often filmed and shared online by Israeli soldiers, both for gratification and as a means to humiliate and degrade the Palestinian community.
European-style colonial malevolence
The historical parallels are inescapable. From the pogroms of medieval Europe, the British rape camps in Kenya and the Dutch slave ships roaming the oceans to the killing fields of Cambodia, the story of Western ‘civilization’ is one of cyclical violence and oppression. The Israeli state, with its sophisticated machinery of death, is but the latest incarnation of this European-style colonial malevolence. The echoes of past atrocities resonate in the streets of Gaza and the West Bank, a grim reminder that the lessons of history remain unlearned in the West.
This moment epitomizes the zenith of Western capitalist and imperialist civilization, where unbridled growth and exploitation have spawned cultures of monstrosity. Across the Western world, demagogues like Trump, Orbán, and Wilders ascend to power, while figures like Elon Musk, Conor McGregor, and Andrew Tate are lauded by our children as heroes. This is the bitter fruit of capitalist individualism and self-indulgence: a world where billionaires cavort on islands of child sex slavery, and nations like Israel stand as paragons of absolute evil—engaging in the rape of children, perpetrating genocide, bombing their neighbors indiscriminately, blackmailing politicians, destroying free-speech, and brazenly celebrating their atrocities online.
How else can we describe our so-called Western ‘civilization’ other than as the pinnacle of absolute evil? After centuries stained by one genocide after another, we now witness one of history’s most brutal and savage genocides unfolding live on our phone screens for nearly one and a half years. Yet, our politicians respond by imprisoning innocent students who dare to protest against it. Meanwhile, Netanyahu, with his smug smirk, travels the world unhindered, while his forces sexually assault Palestinian children who scarcely have time to process the trauma of losing their parents and siblings.
The future of humanity hangs in the balance, and it is within your power to tip the scales towards justice and compassion. If the world fails to end Zionism, Zionism will end the world.
