| Have you heard of Darren Jones?
He is a minister who has been defending the government’s cruel disability cuts in the media. He was also forced to apologise for insensitively comparing Personal Independence Payment (PIP) to children’s pocket money.
These politicians should not be able to get away with attacking disabled people whilst refusing to tax wealth. So today we confronted Darren Jones face-to-face to tell him exactly what we think of the government’s disability cuts. Will you help pile on the pressure by watching and sharing our action? |

| Darren Jones’ comments highlight that the politicians pushing these cuts are totally out of touch with the reality of what it’s like to live with severe mental illness and disability.
PIP is not pocket money. It’s not an “out of work” benefit. It’s a lifeline that helps to tackle some of the many additional costs that disabled people face just to live day-to-day. Very soon MPs will be voting on cuts to PIP in Parliament, and we are fighting every day, hour and minute to pressure politicians to do the right thing and oppose these plans. It’s vital that as many people as possible reach out to their MPs about this issue – and one of the most effective ways of lobbying them is in a face-to-face meeting. That’s why we’ve created a handy guide with everything you need to know about meeting your MP – click to check it out! |

| We will not stop campaigning until these cruel cuts are halted. Thanks so much for all your support.
More soon, Emma at Just Treatment |
