    The liberal left that I know has always hated Russia and very self-righteously. All the hostile commentary cited at the beginning of this talk has been standard all my life. The propaganda on the Ukraine war is totally sucked in by the left, both liberal and much of the progressives. It strikes me that Russophobia began after the 1917 revolution that opposed Capitalism and is still the basis of this pathology. You cannot even provide media of the 1914 US supported coup in Ukraine with the Nazi brigades’ barbarism against the UK Russian population. They scream and carry on the same way as if you question the covid debacle or the exposed fraudulent science of vaccines. So this talk that begins this Russophobia over the past 20+ yrs seems like a limited time line.
