The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that 254 people were martyred and 1,165 others were injured in this afternoon’s Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
It detailed that the toll is distributed as follows:
– Beirut: 92 martyrs and 742 injured
– Beirut’s Southern Suburb: 61 martyrs and 200 injured
– Baalbek: 18 martyrs and 28 injured
– Hermel: 9 martyrs and 6 injured
– Nabatieh: 28 martyrs and 59 wounded
– Alay: 17 martyrs, 6 injured
– Saida: 12 martyrs, 56 injured
– Tyre: 17 martyrs and 68 injured
The General Directorate of the Civil Defense added that its teams are continuing their search and rescue operations, while also clearing debris at several sites, suggesting that the “death toll is likely to rise as field operations proceed.”
It further called on “citizens to cooperate with the teams working in the field and allow them to perform their duties to the best of their ability.”
