The Biden Administration is sounding the alarm, announcing the imminent attack and the certain defeat of Russia. However, one by one, its main allies are pouting. For its part, Russia recalls its demands of December 17, 2021 (the respect of international law by the United States) and demonstrates its military superiority. The veil is about to be torn.
The hostility of the U.S. against the resistance axis in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon has led to conflicting aims. While the U.S. wants to isolate the ‘resistance’ it also wants to keep its own dominating role in Lebanon. Those aims are now in conflict. The U.S. is thus in a situation where it will have to lift sanctions against Syria to be able to politically compete with Hizbullah in Lebanon.

Keeping the Syrian border safe and secure is certainly not a British priority. Let’s not forget that it was Britain which hired various companies, led by ‘former’ British intelligence officers, who then organized and ran the propaganda campaigns for the Jihadi onslaught on Syria.

In December documents of a different secret program revealed similar British efforts in Lebanon. These were designed to influence certain ‘liberal’ youth groups in preparation for a ‘color revolution’ that would overthrow the Lebanese government.

On August 4 2020 2.750 tons of ammonium nitrate, stored in a warehouse of Beirut’s harbour, exploded. The blast destroyed large parts of the city.
The dangerous load had come on a defect[ive] ship which was impounded by the Lebanese authorities. It had been stored since 2013. Despite urgent warnings, the complicate[d] Lebanese bureaucracy had never found a way to get rid of the dangerous load.

On February 14, 2005, an explosion rocked Beirut killing and injuring hundreds of people chief among them the former Prime Minister of Lebanon, Rafik al-Hariri. The West was quick to blame Hezbollah and Syria. In 2006, Israel and its tanks rolled into Lebanon.
15 years later, on August 4th, another explosion rocked Lebanon. This time, the fingers were again pointed at Hezbollah and its ‘Iran backers’. And once again, Israeli tanks crossed into Lebanon.

Yesterday 2.750 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse at the port of Beirut, Lebanon, exploded. The blast killed more than 100 people and wounded more than 4,000. Many buildings in Beirut were severely damaged. The pressure wave broke windows as far 10 miles away. Beirut’s port is mostly destroyed. Lebanon’s national grain reserve, stored in grain silos next to the explosion, is gone.
