Join Netpol at the annual United Families and Friends Campaign demonstration
Every year, the bereaved families and friends of loved ones who have died at the hands of the state are joined in London by supporters to march to Downing Street to hand in their demands for justice and accountability.
On Saturday 26 October, the United Families and Friends Campaign will gather again at Trafalgar Square in central London at midday.
This year, Black Lives Matter UK, Copwatch Network and Netpol are collectively mobilising an “ACAB Bloc” on the march, and urging supporters to come together and show the strength of our solidarity families who have lost someone. Many loved ones have been fighting for justice for years; the first Annual Remembrance Procession took place in 1999.
We are meeting from 12pm at the statue of the imperialist general Henry Havelock in Trafalgar Square. This is between the east side of Nelson’s Column and the subway exit to Charing Cross (Bakerloo Line). The procession leaves promptly at 1pm. Please wear black.
