Since you signed the petition demanding a full investigation into Peter Mandelson’s dealings with US Spy Tech corporation Palantir, the issue has continued to gain momentum.
Over 6,500 people have now signed alongside you. And the pressure is building.
The Guardian newspaper went big on the story. A first piece, headlined “Mandelson’s links with US tech firm Palantir must be fully exposed, campaigners warn” included quotes from Labour, Green, Conservative MPs, all supporting the demand for scrutiny. And then 24 hours later a second piece, headlined “Calls to halt UK Palantir contracts grow amid ‘lack of transparency’” listed yet more voices speaking out.
When we hit 10,000 signatures, we’ll deliver the petition in person to Westminster. We’re over halfway there. Will you help us get across the line, by spreading the word?

It’s shocking that it took the Mandelson/Epstein scandal to push Palantir’s lobbying into the spotlight. But now
we can see just how far Mandelson was willing to go with Epstein, it
raises serious questions about what he may have done for other business
contacts, including Palantir. And that means more MPs from across different parties are now asking exactly the kind of questions Foxglove has been raising for years.
How is Palantir a suitable partner for the NHS? Why should patients trust a secretive US Spy Tech company, with strong links to Donald Trump and a back catalogue of worrying work around the world – including supporting Israeli military operations in Gaza – with their health data?
And how did Palantir – a client of Mandelson’s lobbying firm – end up with a £240 million Ministry of Defence contract, awarded without competitive tender, just months after Mandelson arranged for Keir Starmer to visit their Washington HQ?
The government has been blocking Freedom of Information requests
about these deals. They don’t want this scrutinised. That’s exactly why
it needs to be.
This story isn’t going away. Investigations are ongoing – including by the police. But there’s
no guarantee – yet – that any of the investigations will cover
Mandelson’s dealings with Palantir while he was Ambassador. That’s the gap, and that’s what our petition is about.
Thank you. Let’s keep the pressure up!
Donald
