NHS England has just published its first ever official figures on corridor care, revealing that around 3000 patients every single day are being subjected to this crisis.

These figures confirm what we already knew – corridor care is a national emergency.

Patients are dying and staff are being traumatised because there are not enough hospital beds, staff or social care support needed to meet demand.

This must be a wake up call for the government – and it is a pivotal moment to pile the pressure on them to act.

We need every politician to engage on this issue. So if you haven’t yet written to your MP, please take two minutes to do so today – it’s vital that they hear from constituents whilst corridor care is in the headlines!

Without meaningful and urgent action from the new Health
Secretary, James Murray, even more people will die without dignity in
corridors.

Our movement will not sit back and watch that happen – so let’s
keep raising the alarm and demanding the lifesaving investment that our
NHS so desperately needs.
