Israel Spent $1 Million Through NY-based Firm Piro To Influence AI Chatbots Like ChatGPT & Perplexity On Gaza Related Responses
The PR initiative used the marketing firm, Piro, to set up a Pseudo think-tank called the Hanover Institute. This project then published 100+ reports that were specifically formatted to be indexed and referenced by LLM Chatbots.
This is part of a wider Israeli propaganda effort that seeks to manipulate AI Chatbots in order to have them cite IsraelI State-funded propaganda to educate responses to users.
