They came to Spain for work. Washington called it an invasion
On July 30 and 31, tens of thousands of Moroccan workers crossed into the Spanish-held enclave of Ceuta. At least 72 drowned or were crushed on the way. The toll kept rising as bodies washed ashore. Within two days, most had returned to Morocco. Many went back voluntarily; Spanish soldiers escorted others to the border. Continue reading
