The crew of the Handala aid ship bound for Gaza left behind recordings in case they were kidnapped and detained by Israeli occupation forces.
All 21 crew members had one unified message: exert pressure on their governments to demand their release as well as their companions.
The unarmed civilians, carrying aid to Gaza, including life-saving aid, food, baby formula, medicine, and soft toys, were illegally kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli occupation’s navy forces.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition urged, “Demand your government end its complicity in Israeli war crimes, ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and call for the immediate release of all crew members.”

The leaders of Europe still seem not have realized the declining impact of their actions, nor their long-term negative consequences they will have for the continent. (Al Mayadeen English; Illustration by Zainab el-Hajj)
The continent’s compensation for its shrinking global influence only hastens its marginalization from a reordering world-system.

“Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose”, the more it changes, the more it remains the same. Or “back to the 1880s!” The New Deal era was the exception for the US, not the rule.

“Despite promises to end foreign entanglements, the Trump administration has intensified the U.S. proxy war in Ukraine as part of a broader strategy to preserve American global dominance and confront rising multipolar powers.”

On July 19th, the Mail on Sunday revealed that Inter-Mediate, a shadowy firm founded by Jonathan Powell, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s National Security Advisor, brokered re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Damascus and London, and a heavily-publicised meeting between Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Syria’s self-appointed leader Ahmad al-Sharaa, two weeks prior. What’s more, the outlet exposed how Inter-Mediate – which is funded by the British state – operates a dedicated office in Syria’s Presidential Palace.

Ukraine’s new digital kill-points reward system, praised in the West as innovation, marks a chilling return to the ancient logic of ritualized violence—where death is commodified, incentivized, and gamified under the banner of progress.

A century after Upton Sinclair exposed journalism as a racket in The Brass Check, today’s media landscape has evolved into something even more dangerous: sanitized censorship disguised as fact-checking.

I know there is a lot of interest in the Jeffrey Epstein story and the new revelations from Tulsi Gabbard about Barack Obama and his team’s efforts to fan the flames of Russiagate. I have been all over the Russiagate matter since 2017. Here is the link to a piece I published on December 18, 2018 with the nifty title, The Trump Coup Is a Threat to Our Republic. I am glad the information is finally coming out, but I knew this seven years ago. What took them so long? While Tulsi’s revelations are legit, I think she is releasing this information now to distract attention away from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Trump is getting killed in the polls — reportedly he is down 40% points on this issue.

The US ruling bourgeois oligarchy can have its differences, but when push comes to shove the interests of the oligarchic class as a whole will trump any differences. Members of the oligarchy and bought-and-paid-for political tools may attack each other, but they will never get so vicious as to expose the overall class interests. It is very obvious that the full publication of all of the Epstein evidence would cause serious harm to the oligarchy as a whole as it would expose the widespread levels of disgusting wrong doing that pervade an oligarch class that assumes that it is above the law.
