Lineup: Jerry Gonzalez (congas, trumpet) Pepe Rivero (piano), Reinier Elizarde “negrón” (double   bass) and Georvis Tip (drums) guest: Manuel Machado (trumpet) and Yuvisney Aguilar (percussion).

Trumpeter, percussionist and bandleader Jerry Gonzalez died on October 1, 2018 of a heart attack after a house fire at his home in Madrid, Spain.

  1. Hi, do you know the names of the Bassist and Drummer. This is one of the most things I have ever heard. I’ve been a fan of Jerry Gonzalez for 4 decades. I had the pleasure of speaking with him after a show. He was such a nice guy. The way he passed was a terrible tragedy. It’s not fair that a man who gave so much beauty to the world had to die so horribly. He was such a master.
