Trump orders ‘unconditional surrender’ by Iran. Who’s listening?
Israel’s blitzkrieg against Iran five days ago is failing spectacularly. The Russian media reported that: i) Israel’s Rafael weapons complex has been destroyed; ii) Haifa oil refinery is in flames; iii) the Iron Dome has been breached; iv) and, Israel’s air dominance is a figment of imagination.
Iranian Jewish Member of Parliament Homayoun Sameh has strongly denounced U.S.-Israeli aggression, and has long stood with Palestine.
As the U.S. and Israel launched a violent campaign against Iran and its people, Homayoun Sameh, the Jewish member of Iran’s parliament, spoke out against the Zionist escalation. Sameh has consistently been a strong supporter of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Palestinian resistance for his entire time in parliament. Iran is one of the few countries on the planet with a constitution that requires Jewish representation in its central legislative body.
On June 14th, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer bragged he was moving the country’s military assets and fighter jets to West Asia, to provide “contingency support in the region” in response to Iran’s counterattack on the Zionist entity. Asked by Sky News if he ruled out direct military involvement, he evasively responded, “I’m not getting into that.” He also refused to clarify whether Tel Aviv gave London any advance warning of its criminal, unprovoked strike on Tehran a day prior:
🔹 Following Iran’s massive missile attack on the occupied territories, the Israeli economy has faced an unprecedented crisis, from the closure of refineries and ports to the paralysis of airports and infrastructure.
🔹 Experts believe that continuing this trend will push the Israeli economy into a stage of structural collapse.
🔹 The Haifa Refinery, Israel’s largest oil refinery with a capacity of 200,000 barrels, was among the targets and has been taken out of production.
🔹 The destruction of three oil terminals in the ports of Haifa, Ashkelon, and Eilat, along with the shutdown of two major refineries, has effectively disabled Israel’s energy backbone.
🔹 Port activity has reached zero, airports have been closed, and all export and import logistics systems are in lockdown. In this situation, even food and fuel imports are facing a crisis.
Samuel Geddes argues that Netanyahu has led “Israel” into a war it cannot win; as Iranian missiles continue to rain down, the countdown to “Israel’s” military and economic collapse has begun.
Netanyahu has put “Israel” in an impossible position that it cannot sustain, even with indefinite American re-supply.
The Israeli attack on Iran continues. Since Friday, IDF jets and missiles have hit sites across the country, carrying out targeted assassinations of key leaders and hitting buildings and other civilian infrastructure. Iran has retaliated in kind, firing missiles into Israel.
The US is fighting a war with Iran already, through Israel in the same manner it fights Russia through Ukraine;
US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has reported Iran has no nuclear weapons and is not working on them to which the US president and other US officials have declared will be ignored and pursuit of war will continue;
The war will be determined by the number of missiles Iran is able to maintain and use throughout the fighting and the depletion of US-Israel air defense systems;
Iran is home to the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside Israel itself, laying to rest war propaganda claiming Iran wants to “exterminate” the Jewish people;
The empire is falling. Not with fireworks or finality—but in slow motion, dragging the world down with it. The dreams sold after World War II—democracy, prosperity and liberty—have curdled into surveillance, austerity and endless war. The U.S., bloated on conquest, finds itself governing not through vision but through brute force and algorithmic fear.
Israel’s US-backed brazen violations of Iranian sovereignty mark a dangerous escalation in Washington’s long war on independent states, exposing the impotence of international law and the necessity of armed resistance.
On the early morning of 13 June, Israel launched an aerial assault on Iran, killing over 224 people to date. This is the gravest breach of Iranian sovereignty since the US-backed Iran–Iraq War of the 1980s, widely understood as a proxy effort to dismantle the nascent Islamic Republic.
The crying shadow in the funeral dance,
The loud lament of the disconsolate chimera.

The question then is, in a scenario of the US de facto at war, what will it take for Russia and China, in concertation, to lose their own strategic patience.
A social media post highlights growing tensions as Arab Palestinian residents—both Muslims and Christians—report being excluded from access to bomb shelters.
According to the post, a Jewish tenant told them, “Friends, I just received from the tenants that we should no longer come to the shelter: Christians and Muslims.” The same tenant, described as apologetic, added that she would be “changing the entrance code to the building.” The residents, living across the street without a safe room or shelter, end their message by asking, “What do you think and what do you suggest we do?… What should we do?”
Thai and and other foreign workers also denied access
Another report shows Israelis refusing Thai and other foreign workers from accessing underground shelters, stating the bunkers were reserved for Jewish citizens only.
The segment features a conversation criticizing U.S. and Israeli military policy, particularly in the context of Iran and missile defense systems. U.S. officials reportedly rejected a proposal to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader, fearing escalation. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is portrayed as exaggerating Israel’s defensive capability and moral authority, claiming Israel is saving the world from Iranian aggression. His claims are challenged by guest Andrei Martyanov, a Russian military analyst, who accuses Israel of lying and being militarily weak, with its air defense systems largely American-made and ineffective.
Martyanov argues:
Israel’s military performance has been poor, especially in the past 96 hours.
The U.S. and Israel’s air defense systems like Iron Dome, David’s Sling, THAAD, and Patriot are overrated and unable to intercept modern missiles effectively, especially hypersonic ones.
American media and defense narratives are driven by hype and self-deception, not real military performance.
Iran has only begun using its older missile stock and still holds more advanced capabilities in reserve.
Russian air defense systems (e.g., S-300, S-400) are significantly more advanced, able to handle high-speed and maneuverable missiles.
Russia’s integrated, multi-band radar and air defense network is based on decades-old designs that outclass Western systems.
Russia has successfully intercepted over 80,000 aerial threats, including 7,500 advanced missiles, due to this superior defense philosophy and infrastructure.
Overall, the guest portrays Western military superiority as a myth and claims current events are exposing that myth.
Prof. Jeffrey Sachs is a world-renowned economics professor, an advisor to political leaders around the world, a bestselling author, and a global leader in sustainable development. Prof. Sachs discusses the reckless surprise attack on Iran, and the dangerous escalation as the US is making preparations to join the war.
What we’re witnessing isn’t just another military escalation; it’s Zionist Israel emptying its vault.
1. The Strategic Stockpile Is Gone:
Drones. Smart bombs. Precision missiles. Weapons reserved for a “doomsday scenario”, all now unleashed. Israel’s top brass had always imagined this confrontation would be with a powerful state actor in the region. That time has come.
In April I was asked by the peace camp outside the US Embassy to participate in this panel about the phenomenon of weaponising anti-Semitism to protect Israel from criticism and opposition.

“Copaganda” is a special kind of propaganda employed by police and news media that stokes fear of police-recorded crime and distorts society’s responses to it.
Every day, mass media manipulates our perception of what keeps us safe, fuelling fear against poor people, immigrants, unhoused people, and racialised communities and shifting the public’s focus away from the policies that would help improve people’s lives—things like housing, healthcare, education, and tackling genuine threats like climate-chaos.

Israel’s bid to export its assassination doctrine from Lebanon to Iran has backfired. Tehran’s rapid retaliation and deep strategic reserves have exposed the limits of Israeli power – and may drag Washington to the brink of a regional confrontation it can neither afford nor fully control.
With Israel’s unprovoked strikes on key military installations in Iran, killing several leading army officials and nuclear scientists, instability and chaos in the world has surged to the highest level after World War 2.
Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Tehran University professor Dr. Mohammad Marandi says Iran’s goal is not to convince the West, but to expose it. By highlighting US and Israeli crimes in Gaza, Iran aims to show the rest of the world who the real aggressors are, and that it is Iran, not the West, that stands for reason, justice, and diplomacy.
