Are you in debt to your landlord? Are you worried about eviction? Have you faced housing issues during the pandemic?
If you have, you’re not alone!
Lots of us are having these issues right now because of the coronavirus pandemic and because the government is not protecting renters.
Together we can help each other to stay safe and stay in our homes.
Come to our London Renters Union solidarity meeting on August 12 and find out about:
- Steps you can take to stay in your home if you’re in rent debt
- Your rights if your landlord is trying to evict you
- How renters can work together to prevent and resist evictions
Register now
Let us know you’d like to come by filling out the form on the registration page and we’ll send you a link to a Zoom call. We can support you to join via Zoom if you’ve never used Zoom before.
You don’t have to be an LRU member to join this call – but if you’re ready to join you can do that here.
In friendship and solidarity,
Clare and the member solidarity working group
p.s. If you’re a member of the Lewisham branch, you could join the discussion about rent debt and evictions the branch is having when it meets on August 11 – look out for more details soon.
