1. Thank you!
Thank so much for all your support this year – Housmans only survives thanks to the good will of our customers and supporters. It’s been a great year for the shop, with some big changes, new staff, and all finished off with our expansion down in the Vaults. Lots of people have given their time and energy and gone above the call of duty to make it everything come together. All support, big or small, is really appreciated. Thank you.

2. Housmans Gift Vouchers

8. ‘Corbyn’s Campaign: Making Labour Awesome Again’ with Tom Unterrainer
Saturday 30th January, 6.30pm

Entry £3, redeemable against any purchase

Corbyn’s Campaign tells the story of Jeremy’s victory and articulates the opportunities for a renewal of socialism in Britain. The talk will be an opportunity to draw lessons on what made the campaign so effective, and consider what the chances are to replicate the success at the general election level.

9. The Fuse Book Club – forthcoming titles
Housmans has a monthly book club which usually meets on the second Thursday of the month, starting at 7pm in the shop. Forthcoming titles under discussion are:

10. London Pacifism and Nonviolence Discussion Group
Housmans has a regular Pacifism and Nonviolence Discussion Group, who meet on the second Tuesday of the month. All are welcome, but please be prepared to join in the discussion. Please try to turn up by 7pm sharp.

At the next meeting on 12 January 2016, the topic will be FEMINISM AND NONVIOLENCE. And on 9 February 2016, we will look at RESISTING MILITARISM IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
