Iraq War Logs Videos: Watch and Share!

12 November 2020 — Assange Defense

We are happy to announce the release of the first video in our Iraq War Logs series, and we hope you can help by amplifying these messages on social media!

Iraq War Logs — Chapter 1: Impact

The Assange Defense Committee has been putting together a series of videos on the Iraq War Logs. These videos, and others we are currently producing on other topics, will help spread awareness of Julian’s situation and the significance of WikiLeaks’ work. The ultimate goal: generating the public support we need to persuade the U.S. government to back down, end its persecution of Julian, and respect press freedom.

Our Iraq War Logs videos are short and user-friendly: perfect for sharing on Facebook and Twitter. You can watch the video below on our YouTube channel and see our social media cuts on Facebook and Twitter!

We’ll be releasing more parts to the video in coming days, and expanding to other topics in coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Book Release Preview: We Are Millions

Next week we’ll be sharing more information We Are Millions, an upcoming book from the Courage Foundation and O/R Books. It features images and words from Julian’s supporters, both “well-known and anonymous,” who “express simply and clearly why they are standing up for Assange.” You can check out some teaser videos on Facebook and Twitter.

How Else Can I Get Involved?

As the presidential transition begins, it is important to pressure both Trump and Biden to do the right thing. We could use your help! Our volunteers have done amazing work: in the past few days letters have been published in local papers in California, Colorado, Florida, New York, and Oregon.

Please let us know if you have had a pro-Julian letter published! To volunteer to write an LTE, sign up with us through Action Network or reply to this email. It really helps!

In solidarity,

Team Assange Defense
