China reboots ‘no limit’ partnership with Russia

Tuesday, 28 February 2023 — Indian Punchline

Russian President Vladimir Putin (R) met with Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Wang Yi, Kremlin, Moscow, February 22, 2023

The ‘butterfly effect’ of the visit by the Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Wang Yi to Moscow on February 21-22 is already discernible. It can influence a much larger complex system still.

Keeping this short and sweet –

The Digital ID they are proposing is a slippery slippery slope as they are bringing it in on the basis that they can add any types of data that they want to in the future.

Furthermore it will be very hard to avoid as they will make it a requirement to do so many things.

I don’t want to consent, you don’t want to consent, but there’s things on that list that I do want and need.

It is why we must object now as they will take our silence as consent.

Take these two actions now if you haven’t already:

Use the guide linked below so you can fill out the online consultation (the link to which is on the first slide of the guide).

This is best viewed on a desktop with two windows open; one for the guide and one for the consultation.

Below the guide is the option to send an email response to the consultation which also sends a copy to your MP. This takes less than 30 seconds as it finds your MP for you.

This means they get more responses and the MPs know before it even comes to Westminster that thousands and thousands of us object.

Maneuvers from Minsk?

Monday, 27 February 2023 — The van says…

Geography is destiny, but what does the future hold should Belarus enter the fight?

In the multitude of dynamics that make up the current conflict in Eastern Europe, a potential operation from Belarus cannot be dismissed. A previous article stated that

‘…recent rumors indicate not only a large buildup of men and machines in the Belgorod region, but also in Belarus. Another front opening on the Ukraine’s borders would open a real can of worms for Kiev and its backers, already overstretched resources now being taken way beyond breaking point. Some would say there is excellent logic behind Russia carrying out such a plan, yet viewed objectively, it would be madness for Russia to not follow such an agenda.’

This piece shall examine the possibilities offered should Minsk enter the fray, and what it may mean for both Kiev and the world as a whole.

Quoth the Vultures “Evermore”

On the short roof outside the bedroom window, two black vultures sit, staring in.  They have come to remind me of something.  I put my book down and peer back  at these strange looking creatures. The book: Our War: What We Did in Vietnam And What It Did to Us by David Harris.  I had read it when it was first published in 1996 and it has stuck with me, as has the utterly savage U.S. war against Vietnam that killed so many millions, what the Vietnamese call The American War.

Recognizing The War Is Lost The ‘West’ Seeks An Exit

20 February 2023 — Moon of Alabama

U.S. President Joe Biden is in Kiev today to rescue his lunatic project of destroying Russia by proxy war. But there is no good way to do that.

A review of ‘western’ media shows that the inevitable outcome of the war is now recognized. The only still open alternatives are to risk a large nuclear war or to retreat from ‘western’ dreams of its permanent hegemony.

Transnistrian Troubles?

Friday, 24 February 2023 — The van says…

The state of Transnistria might not be well known internationally, but Kiev might do well to leave it well alone.

Russia’s Ukraine offensive in suspended animation

In a clandestine visit to Kiev, US President Joe Biden (C) met Ukrainian president Zelensky and his wife Olena, Feb. 20, 2023

The general expectation that the first anniversary of Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine would mark the commencement of a big military offensive has been belied, going by the speeches by President Vladimir Putin and the US President Joe Biden, separated by a few hours on February 21, in Moscow and Warsaw.
