Fate of Wikileaks Founder Will be Decided by UK Court

The UK’s High Court will hold a two-day hearing on February 20 and 21 on the U.S. request to extradite Wikileaks cofounder Julian Assange to the notorious Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) to face 17 felony counts of espionage and one count of misuse of a computer related to Wikileaks’ release of the Iraq War Logs and so-called Collateral Murder Video provided by Chelsea Manning.

Regrettably, it now appears that editors at the Turkish broadcaster overruled the journalists who took the interview. The taped version never reached the internet. This is sad, but understandable given my direct accusations on air that ‘the Brits did it.’ The courtesies of NATO membership obviously won out over dissemination of a painful truth. So be it.

Recent attacks in Rafah are showing Israeli practices to Western public opinion and making the Zionist state even more isolated internationally.

Israel’s attacks against the Gaza Strip are increasingly violent and disproportionate. In recent days, the Zionist State has launched a series of brutal strikes against the city of Rafah, in south of the Strip, close to the border with Egypt’s Sinai. The region has served as a refuge for thousands of Palestinians who have fled their homes in the northern areas of Gaza since the start of the conflict. By bombing Rafah, Tel Aviv makes it clear that there will be no security for Palestinians anywhere in Gaza.

This was the question my 78-year-old mum Jackie asked me as she lay in agony on the floor following a fall at home. I couldn’t give her an answer. In the end, an ambulance only arrived 11 hours after we rang 999. She died in hospital 2 days later after an infection turned to sepsis.
