Jonathan Woodcock, a member of the House of Lords, has spearheaded a government review aimed at combating ‘extremism’ and shutting down support for the Palestinian cause.
Notably, Woodcock has a background as the former chair of the Labour Friends of Israel and has received financial backing from Israel lobby groups, with the most recent funding noted as recently as January of this year.
