As soon as the French president says something that upsets the Tel Aviv establishment, his entourage twists itself into various uncomfortable positions while trying to strike a different tone.
According to the London Times newspaper, Israel has called off its plan to attack Iran because, it alleges, of the ‘leak’ of the ‘secret’ attack plans. ‘Secret’? Oh really? Think about it; for weeks now, the US government has been ‘advising’ Israel that it would be a bad idea to attack Iran, those hypersonic missiles that did reach their targets, might have something to do with it but The Times claims it was the ‘leak’ of ‘secret’ attack plans and if you believe this then you’ll also believe that pigs can fly. Clearly, the plans were ‘leaked’ because USIsrael needed an excuse as to why the attack had to be called off.

Next year is the seventieth anniversary of the Asian-African Conference held in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1955 and attended by heads of government and state from twenty-nine African and Asian countries. Indonesia’s President Sukarno (1901–1970), who had led the freedom movement in Indonesia against Dutch colonialism, opened the conference with a speech entitled ‘Let a New Asia and a New Africa be Born!’, in which he lamented that, while human technical and scientific progress had advanced, the politics of the world remained in a state of disarray. In the seventy years since then (roughly the global average life expectancy), much has been lost and much gained of what was called the Bandung Spirit. South Africa: Court ruling sets aside commercial approval of GM drought-tolerant maize
A precedent-setting ruling by the South African Supreme Court of Appeal in favour of African Center for Biosafety (ACB) vs Monsanto/Bayer has set aside the commercial approval of GM drought-tolerant maize. ACB said: “South Africa’s Supreme Court has agreed that the regulators merely rubber-stamped Monsanto’s application for authorisation, uncritically accepting its paucity of evidence that the GMO poses no threat to human health or the environment and ignoring the contrary expert evidence.” GMWatch

“Where should we go after the last frontiers? Where should the birds fly after the last sky?”
We are at a loss for words. We have lost all language. What words can describe the horrors and sorrows of a genocide, unremittingly live streamed, that has continued for more than a year? What language can convey the warped and barbaric white supremacist logics that justify the industrial massacre of more than 200,000 people, including the cruel starvation of entire families and the savage dismembering of children, of infants? What language can explain the ethnic cleansing of more than a million people from their lands, their homeland? Words have failed. Language has disintegrated. We are left with nothing more coherent than a clotted knar of grief and rage.
A Metropolitan Police firearms officer has this week been found not guilty of the murder of Chris Kaba.
Chris Kaba, a 24 year old Black man, was fatally shot by firearms officer Martyn Blake on 5 September 2022 in Streatham, London. He was unarmed. His family said:
“We are devastated. The not guilty verdict leaves us with the deep pain of injustice adding to the unbearable sorrow we have felt since Chris was killed. Chris was stolen from us, and this decision shows his life — and many others like him — does not matter to the system. Our son deserved better.”
This Saturday, on the 26 October, Netpol will be joining hundreds of others to march with the United Friends and Families Campaign (UFFC) to call for an end to police impunity, and to demand justice for those who have been killed at the hands of the state.
Black Lives Matter UK, Copwatch Network and Netpol are collectively mobilising an “ACAB Bloc” on the march. We are meeting from 12pm in central London, at the statue of the imperialist general Henry Havelock in Trafalgar Square. This is between the east side of Nelson’s Column and the subway exit to Charing Cross (Bakerloo Line). The procession leaves promptly at 1pm. The families have asked that people wear black for the march.

The “law of the people” is the fallacy on which the State of Israel has historically relied, from its founding as a Western colony in Palestine to ensuring imperial control throughout the Middle East.
For more than seven months, a retired head teacher, a dementia care advisor and a retired environmental health officer have been left waiting in limbo by the Metropolitan Police, desperately hoping to find out if they will face criminal charges instigated by an east London council following a town hall protest.

🇮🇱 The hero of the article, 40-year-old Eliran Mizrahi, a father of four, could not cope with psychological problems and committed suicide. The CNN article is filled with sympathy for this tormented man with a kind heart.
🩸True, about halfway through the article it turns out that he was the driver of an army bulldozer D-9 – a 62-ton armored vehicle. And he crushed still living 🇵🇸Palestinians.
