We are being accused of “spreading disinformation” regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Reuters and AP media “trackers” and “fact checkers” will be out to smear the testimonies of parents who have lost their children.
The visitor ‘pull’ of the interview channel ‘Redacted’ moderated by Natali Morris may not match that of Tucker Carlson, but perhaps it comes in second or third, with 2.31 million subscribers. Accordingly, an invitation to join Natali online is a very welcome means of bringing some novel and perhaps penetrating analysis to a very broad global public stretching from the USA to New Zealand.
Rosa Luxemburg in LondonThe barbarity of capitalism is evident at present like never before, and the most heart-rending, the most incredibly cruel instance of it is the genocide of the Palestinians that is currently occurring with the combined blessings of all advanced capitalist countries.

This week we hear about the implications of the anti-imperialist struggle in the African nation Guinea-Bissau. We have the second part of a two-part interview on immigration policy and learn that Haitian asylum seekers are targeted for deportation. But first we get an update on and history of the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Israel apologists are citing a new report from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), which claims that Middle Eastern money is fueling a vast wave of anti-Semitic sentiment on U.S. college campuses.

But a new MintPress report from Alan MacLeod shows that the NCRI itself has deep connections with the Israel lobby, making its conclusions highly suspect.
There’s one week left to send us your experiences for our new report on the policing of the Palestine protests – fill in the secure form now.
Palestine protests have faced increasingly severe police restrictions, been vilified as “hate marches”, and there have been calls for the outright banning of demonstrations. Hundreds have been arrested and protesters have been accused of antisemitism and “glorifying terrorism”.
Netpol is preparing a new report on the policing and repression of Palestine protests across England and Wales since October 2023. Send us your experiences by 29 February for inclusion in the report.
We are keen to hear about any notable police incidents, and especially if you have experienced:
You can share your testimony through our secure reporting form, or by sending a statement palestinereport@protonmail.com.
If you’re Scotland or Europe, please report incidents to our partner organisation the European Legal Support Centre.

The Metropolitan Police has taken to social media to confirm that despite the best efforts of Israel lobby groups, chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is not illegal.

Labour leader Keir Starmer has admitted speaking with Israeli President Isaac Herzog before lobbying the Speaker of the House to help ruin the SNP ceasefire motion on Gaza.
We share the outrage of migrant and refugee advocacy groups such as JCWI, SOAS Detainee Support, Care for Calais and Captain Support UK, at the cruel prosecution of Ibrahima Bah, from Senegal, that has led to his unjust conviction for facilitating illegal immigration and manslaughter. Bah, as we document in our regular calendar of racism and resistance, was a teenager in December 2022 when he was forced by people smugglers to pilot a dinghy across the Channel. The boat broke up and at least four people died. Why, migrant support groups ask, was a vulnerable young man on trial, and not the British and French states which make it impossible for people to come to this country safely?
Join Kevin Gosztola, author of “Guilty of Journalism: The Political Case Against Julian Assange,” as he discusses the hearing before the British High Court of Justice, where the WikiLeaks founder requested permission to appeal extradition.
The hearing concluded on February 21. Assange, his legal team, press freedom groups, journalists, and supporters around the world now wait for a decision that could come in days or weeks.
Kevin will be live from 4-5pm ET. He’ll take your questions and respond to any comments you may have about the case.
This is really serious. Did you see the latest news that there’s been a 26% drop in nursing applications? When I saw these headlines, I was filled with dread. But to tell you the truth, I wasn’t surprised.

It is a historical fact that powerful elites do not wish to be diverted from pursuing their selfish interests by the public. Minimal, unthreatening expressions of dissent may be tolerated in ostensible ‘democracies’. But public opinion needs to be managed, manipulated or, if necessary, simply ignored.
Dear friends,
Greetings from the desk of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research.
In 1945, the newly formed United Nations held a conference to found the
United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation
(UNESCO). The main concern of the delegates, particularly those who came
from the Third World, was literacy. There needs to be a ‘world crusade
against illiteracy’, said Dr Jaime Jaramillo Arango, the rector of the National University of Colombia. For him, and several others, illiteracy was ‘one of the greatest outrages to human dignity’. Abdelfattah Amr, the Egyptian ambassador to the United Kingdom and a champion squash player, said that illiteracy was part of the broader problem of underdevelopment, as evidenced by ‘the shortage of technicians and the scarcity of educational materials’. These leaders found inspiration in the USSR, whose Likbez (‘liquidation of illiteracy’) programme virtually eradicated illiteracy between 1919 and 1937. If the USSR could do this, then so could other largely agricultural societies.
Julian Assange’s permission-to-appeal hearing has concluded in London. Within a matter of weeks, Julian could be allowed a full reevaluation of his extradition ruling, or he could be ordered to be sent to the United States.

“Our governments are complicit in the genocide in Palestine. Media corporations disseminate propaganda for it. Social media companies suppress info about it. Israel lobbies persecute human rights defenders. Universities surrender. Time to disrupt. Disrupt Genocide everywhere.”
Those are the words of Craig Mokhiber, who resigned from the UN human rights office in October to protest the world body’s inaction in the face of the unfolding genocide in Gaza.
After a round-up of the news from Nora Barrows-Friedman, Craig will join us to talk about the latest developments in relation to Palestine at the International Court of Justice.
We will also be joined by Dr. Thaer Ahmad, a Palestinian American emergency room doctor who recently spent three weeks volunteering at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.
Based in Chicago, Dr. Thaer traveled to Gaza as part of a team sent by MedGlobal, a charity that provides emergency response and health programs to build resilience among vulnerable communities around the world.
Since his return from Gaza, Nasser hospital has been put out of service by Israel’s brutal siege and attacks on the facility, its patients, staffand people sheltering there.
And why is the BBC relying on Israeli spies for its reporting on Palestine? Asa Winstanley will tell us about an apparent attempt by the British government-backed broadcaster to smear prominent Palestinians in the UK that has fallen flat.
As we do each week, we will talk about the latest military developments with Jon Elmer.
Please join us live on YouTube at this link.

We have entered a period of breakdown and violence, as the forces pulling apart the old status quo cascade and mutually reinforce one another.
In a speech on Tuesday, Hizbullah leader Seyed Nasrallah said that the Party will continue the border offensive until at least the Gaza massacre stops. The war in Gaza however, is far from over. And Nasrallah warned that even were a ceasefire to be reached in Gaza, “should the enemy perform any action, we will return to operating according to the rules and formulas that existed before. The purpose of the resistance is to deter the enemy, and we will react accordingly”.
We must act decisively in support and in solidarity with Julian Assange.
In this regard, we must understand the history: On how Assange was betrayed and misled by those who allegedly supported him.
