In days, ACTA‘s backers will try and use the courts to revive their failing censorship attempt — referring it to the European Court of Justice with a narrow frame that’s certain to get the greenlight. We can force the court to look at the whole truth of ACTA’s attack on our free internet — and kill this treaty for good. Governments are turning their back on ACTA one by one, so the EC is asking their Court of Justice to give the treaty the green light and renew its momentum — but they plan to manipulate the process by giving the court only a narrow, uncontroversial question to consider, hoping it will lead to a positive outcome.

Today could be the day we save the free Internet – Sign the Petition Now!

The US Congress was poised to pass a law allowing officials to censor access to any website around the world. But after we delivered our 1.25 million strong petition to the White House, it came out against the bill and with public pressure at a boiling point even some bill backers are switching sides.
