Because the US ignored Russia’s offer to trade Bout for Griner weeks ago, her trial in Russia proceeded needlessly. So now, Russia is playing for Bout, and it’s a damned shame that Griner is caught up in it because the US didn’t act sooner.

After seeing and then posting this video by Graham Phillips I got so disgusted by what was being done to him by the British authorities that I decided to contact him and ask him a few very basic question about his situation in the hope to introduce him to a larger audience, give visibility to his case and to try to offer him as much support as possible. The lives of the latest fifteen Palestinian children to be murdered by Israel in Gaza, lives ripped from their small, terrified bodies with devastating violence, do not seem of much concern to the powerful in the West, or indeed anywhere.
I’m appalled at the lack of coverage of yet another Israeli outrage on the long suffering people of Gaza and this goes for the progressive press as well. I think only Craig Murray’s piece really hit home.
