17 October 2013 — Manufacturing Dissent and GRTV

manufacturing dissent

Manufacturing Dissent is a documentary posthumously dedicated to Syrian Palestinian actor Mohamad Rafea, who was kidnapped, tortured and finally brutally murdered on Sunday November 4th 2012 by terrorist groups that have been set loose on the country since the US, UK and their western and Gulf State allies launched a covert war in Syria in early 2011, dressed up by the media as a “revolution”. The words spoken in this video by Rafea, and the courage he shows here, is why he was murdered.

Video: NATO War Crimes In Libya

22 August 2011

There seems to be some question over the authenticity of the date of this video, with a comment suggesting that it’s actually the 22 August, not the 25th and I just checked with the source and it is the 22nd! I don’t know who changed the date, certainly not me! But it means whatever she says about the situation is meaningless! It’s four days old. Disinfo indeed! It’ll teach me to check the source first!

Video: Lizzy Phelan's site still closed – Voltairenet online-again – More Censorship due to Libyan Situation?

24 August 2011 — Waterput

UPDATE August 24, 2011 – 20:16 Libyan Time: Thierry Meyssan’s website is on-line again. Why was the site taken off the air during the release of journalists? Possibly to protect themselves? Lizzie Phelan’s website is still off-line. If anyone can explain, please don’t hesitate to do so. Take a look at (10) to see a youtube video from someone who shared our worries.

The Libya Media Hoax: Fabricated Scenes of Jubilation and Euphoria on Green Square By Metro Gael

23 August 2011 — Global ResearchMetro Gael

Surpassing previous mass media fabrications, both in scale and boldness, yesterday morning’s Al Jazeera mise-en-scène will surely go down in history as one of the most cynical hoaxes committed by corporate media since the manipulated pictures of Iraqis topplying Saddam Hussein’s statue after the US invasion in 2003.

On the morning of August 22nd 2011, Al Jazeera aired a ‘live’ report from Green Square in Tripoli, which claimed to show the capture of the Libyan capital by rebel forces. Scenes of jubilation and euphoria enveloped Al Jazeera’s reporter Zeina Khodr as she declared: ” Libya is in the hands of the opposition”

‘Rebels being gathered in Tripoli for a purpose’ — RT

22 August 2011 — RT

Independent journalist Lizzie Phelan who is in Tripoli says allowing the rebels inside the capital could well be a strategic move on the part of Libya troops who have corralled the rebels into a single location.

She argues that loyalist forces remain in de facto control of the city.

Most of the rebels who are not busy looting are now gathering on the Green Square in the center of Tripoli waving flags.

Video: Eyewitnesses dismiss rebel advances on Tripoli as misinformation — RT

21 August 2011 — RT

Reports of tracer bullets and explosions over the Libyan capital have sparked rumours of the imminent defeat of Colonel Gaddafi and his regime. However, it turns out the shots were fired in celebration at a victory for Gaddafi loyalists.

On Saturday evening, rounds were fired close to a hotel hosting foreign journalists. Explosions were also heard in the area as NATO aircraft carried out heavy bombing runs after nightfall, the Associated Press reported.

Libya diary: Day 1 (27/7/11 1.20 AM) By Lizzie Phelan

Mustafa Mohammed Kazouz educating me and the Libyan children about NATO's "protection of civilians"

Arrived in Libya, less checkpoints on the way to Tripoli than the last time I was here at the beginning of June. Still long queues for petrol. Tripoli seems busier.

Yesterday (25/7/11) NATO bombed a wedding party and a hospital in Zlitan. NATO is bombing Tripoli as I write, I can hear the planes and the bombs dropping outside the hotel. Sukant saw smoke rising from the Bab Alziza compound. I saw just a few minutes ago on the TV that there were people at the compound taking part in their nightly get togethers and defiant celebrations of the Jamahiriya.
