Gaddafi manhunt: rebels and NATO close in — RT

[How ironic that the only relatively reliable news out of Libya should come from a Russian-state funded TV station, RT! WB]

British Tornado jets have fired cruise missiles at Colonel Gaddafi’s command and control bunker in his hometown of Sirte, despite previous claims the coalition would not assist rebels in hunting him down. The colonel’s whereabouts are still unknown.

Earlier Libyan rebels said they had sent Special Forces to hunt down Gaddafi, whose loyalists are still fighting in Tripoli. They also tried to reach Sirte, Gaddafi’s hometown, but met with fierce resistance.

‘Death or victory!’ – Gaddafi addresses the nation — RT

Colonel Gaddafi has addressed his nation to say the battle with ‘aggressors’ will last ‘until the end’. Meanwhile, the rebels’ assault on the Tripoli compound brought no visible results and shelling goes on in Libyan towns.

Muammar Gaddafi said leaving his compound was a tactical move.

Colonel has addressed the nation via Libyan radio, declaring that ‘in the fight against aggressors there is only death or victory.’

He said that the Bab Al-Aziziya compound no longer exists. It was totally destroyed by 64 NATO air strikes.
