COLDTYPE EXTRA IS BACK – Between 2008 and 2014 ColdType featured regular Extra publications, single subject essays, photoessays and book excerpts.

This month we’ve revived the series with John Pilger‘s brilliant 6-page essay on the UK’s final efforts to extradite Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange to the United States where he faces a lifetime in prison for exposing US war crimes. Pilger indicts the political and legal systems in the UK and Australia as well as leading journalists who were happy to publish his explosive exposes, but then abandoned him.
