Al-Haq, “Beyond Words: Palestinian Voices in Search of Justice”

‘My name is Bassam ‘Aramin. I am a resident of the town of Anata. . . . At 9:30 am on 16 January 2007, an Israeli Border Guard soldier shot my daughter ‘Abeer in the head from a distance of 15 meters. She died two days later in the hospital. . . . The soldier who killed my daughter is still free.’

Al-Haq is a Palestinian human rights NGO based in Ramallah. This short documentary film was released on the occasion of Human Rights Day, which also marks the 62nd Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
