UK Immigration: We sued the govt and won (again!)

    4 August 2020 — Foxglove

Wonderful news – our legal challenge has forced the government to abandon its racist visa algorithm.

Lawyers from the Home Office wrote to us yesterday afternoon. The Home Secretary Priti Patel has agreed to scrap the visa streaming algorithm from this Friday – and pledged a full review of the system, including for issues of ‘unconscious bias’ and discrimination.

A Washington think tank and Congress issued a bipartisan plan for AI, which utilizes the veneer of technology to formally cast China as the number one obstacle to US hegemony

    by Raul Diego

A bipartisan plan for artificial intelligence (AI) in relation to national security has just been released by U.S. Representatives Robin Kelly (D-IL) and Will Hurd (R-TX). The report was put together by the D.C.-based think tank Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and the Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) of Georgetown University, in addition to industry representatives and academics, as well as other government officials.

Minister Cites Lack of Evidence that Masks Slow the Spread of COVID-19

    By John C. A. Manley
Last Wednesday, the Dutch government decided not to impose any “national obligation” on its people to wear masks, reports Reuters.

The reason for opting out of the global masquerade? Minister for Medical Care, Tamara van Ark, asserted that “from a medical perspective there is no proven effectiveness of masks” after a review by the Netherland’s National Institute for Health.

    2 August 2020 — Global Research

    Testimony of Dr. Dareld Morris

By Dr. Dareld Morris and Mark Taliano

    Dr. Dareld Morris

In the following interview, Dr. Morris, a practicing physician in Florida, USA, explains how politics and fraud are root causes of the Fear campaign that is plaguing his state, and the country.

First, labs are faking COVID results. Some labs are reporting 100% positive tests, and this, he says, is statistically impossible. Two labs that were audited reported less than 10% positive COVID results. Morris attributes the fake reporting to politics and insurance fraud.

This past week US economy collapsed in the 2nd quarter by 32.9% at annual rate and nearly 10% just for the April-June period. Never before in modern US history—not even in the worse quarters of the 1930s great depression—has the US economy contracted so quickly and so deeply!

Masks are a Psychological Preparation for Mandatory Vaccinations

    1 August, 2020 — Dissident Voice

    by Bill Willers

This respirator does not protect against the risk of contracting disease or infection.

—Warning with a box of N-95 respirators.

You have no right not to be vaccinated. You have no right not to wear a mask. You have no right to open up your business …. If you refuse to be vaccinated, the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor’s office and plunge a needle into your arm.

    — Alan Dershowitz

The lockdown, along with the fear campaign with its daily doses of death statistics and warnings of impending spikes, is a full assault being advanced stepwise toward a dystopia of globalist design. The masks that now dominate on faces everywhere place wearers and non wearers into one or the other of two sharply defined categories, each category carrying a list of traits in the minds of those in the opposite category. What a perfect, visible way to split The People into competing teams. Wearers are sheep!; the maskless are public hazards!

World War II: US Military Destroyed 66 Japanese Cities Before Planning to Wipe Out the Same Number of Soviet Cities

    18 June 2019 — Global Research

    By Shane Quinn

    Remember:

    Hiroshima, August 6, 1945

    Nagasaki, August 9, 1945

Timely historical analysis: This article was first published in June 2019

The extent of devastation inflicted upon Japan by the American military during World War II is not broadly known, even today. In reprisal for the attack over Pearl Harbor, which killed almost 2,500 Americans, US aircraft first began unloading bombs on Japan during the afternoon of 18 April 1942 – attacking the capital Tokyo, and also five other major cities, Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Kobe and Yokosuka.

Unlocking the Hostile Environment – What Next?

Covid-19, it turns out, is not the great equaliser. The pandemic and lockdown, together, have exposed the different social realities experienced by those on either side of the race and class divide. One differential is that between citizens and those who crossed borders. Within weeks of the pandemic BAME essential workers started dying in disproportionately higher numbers than white counterparts. The government dragged its feet in acknowledging the problem, and commissioning a review,  then refused to publish its findings about structural inequalities that contributed to these deaths. [read more]

Crisis and Virus: COVID-19 in Context

    30 July, 2020 — The Bullet

    Carlo Fanelli and Heather Whiteside

“Toward the end of the twentieth century a sickness struck the world. Not everyone died, but all suffered from it” — Samir Amin (2003, 7).

It has been over forty years since Thatcher and monetarism, thirty years since the Canada-US Free trade agreement came into effect, and twenty years since the launch of the Euro. More recently, 2020 marks twelve years since the Great Recession and bank bailouts began, ten years since the turn to stimulus and sharp return to austerity, and three years since the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. These historical milestones already offered an opportunity for a retrospective with future implications; however, 2020 will undoubtedly be remembered as the year of the virus with all the attendant hardship and hope that might bring.

New Report Shows Africa’s Green Revolution is “Failing On Its Own Terms”

Fourteen years ago, the Bill and Melinda Gates and Rockefeller foundations launched the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) with the goal of bringing Africa its own Green Revolution in agricultural productivity. Armed with high-yield commercial seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, AGRA eventually set the goal to double productivity and incomes by 2020 for 30 million small-scale farming households while reducing food insecurity by half in 20 countries.

ATOMIC BOMBINGS AT 75: Truman’s ‘Human Sacrifice’ to Subdue Moscow

    3 August 2020 — Consortium News

In this introduction to the memoir of a Nagasaki bombing victim, historian Peter Kuznick shows why the bombs were dropped and how some victims’ anger propelled the Japanese anti-nuclear movement.

    By Peter Kuznick

Sumiteru Taniguchi was one of the “lucky” ones. He lived a long and productive life. He married and fathered two healthy children who gave him four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He had a long career in Japan’s postal and telegraph services. As a leader in Japan’s anti-nuclear movement, he addressed thousands of audiences and hundreds of thousands of people. He traveled to at least 23 countries. The organizations in which he played a prominent role were nominated several times for the Nobel Peace Prize.

It was a great success and the app now has more than 80 million active users in the U.S. alone. The Chinese version Douyin is separate and has even more.

UK: GE deregulation amendment is withdrawn – but there is more work to do

    July 29 2020 — Beyond GM

In its last meeting before the summer recess, the House of Lords finally debated Amendment 275 of the Agriculture Bill, which proposed to deregulate products of gene editing in UK agriculture.

The debate, which lasted nearly two hours, saw Lords raising numerous issues, though only a few stepped off the well-trodden path of the decades-long, adversarial debate about genetic engineering in food and farming.

    Masking the Truth

    30 July 2020 — American Herald Tribune

    By David Macilwain

    Frosty morning in Victoria 9f488

Back in 1919, when the “Spanish Flu” pandemic was cutting down millions of young men who had survived the Great War, similar measures were taken in many countries to those being used now to try to stop the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, including “social distancing” and mandatory mask wearing. Despite minimal technical abilities at the time, their understanding of the nature of this deadly virus was comparable with ours in practical terms, and without the enveloping fog of political and commercial agendas. The resonance with the current drive towards mask wearing, and imposition of mandatory masking in many countries, is beautifully illustrated by a research study at the time, published in a scientific journal in 1920 and now available in pdf form.
