What Does the Esau Revolution Despise?

5 December 2020

By Don Fitz

“And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint;
And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profits shall this birthright do me?
And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.” – Genesis 25: 30-33

Despite the bizarre fantasy by Trump supporters that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, there was, in fact, genuine electoral fraud in the US. This fraud was more intense and blatant than any unproven claims of election meddling by Russians, Chinese, Syrians or Iranians. It was an all-out attack on political rights not seen since Joseph McCarthy era. Yet, this time, it was inspired not by Republicans but by Democrats and their liberal allies.

Buttigieg Backer Top Funder of Group Behind Iowa’s Disastrous Voting App

5 February 2020 — The Grayzone

A dark money operation funded by billionaires is behind the app that delayed Iowa’s voting results, Max Blumenthal reports.

Anti-Populism, Smug Centrism and the Defense of Elitism By Chip Berlet

30 November 2017 — FAIR

Both the leadership of the Democratic Party and the “moderate” wing of the Republican Party seem obsessed with challenging Trumpism by calling for a return to a mythical political “center” and by elevating “elitism” as an antidote to “populism.” This while the political “center” under Trump means scapegoating our nation’s problems to Muslims, Mexicans and liberals while prosecuting leftists for confrontations against a rising tide of neo-fascism.

Former DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile confirms money laundering scheme between the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign

Donna Brazile Confesses that DNC Rigged Primaries

On November 2, Donna Brazile published an excerpt from her upcoming book, “Hacks,” in Politico. In the passage, Brazile outlines how she first discovered the joint fundraising agreement between Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC that created the Hillary Victory Fund. The agreement is the most overt evidence that the DNC rigged the 2016 Democratic Primaries for Hillary Clinton. Essentially, Brazile claims that the fund was used to launder money to the Clinton Campaign, and in exchange the DNC received  help in clearing out its debt. The catch was that former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the entire apparatus of the DNC was at the control of the Clinton Campaign, serving as an extension of it under the false pretense of neutrality.

The Harmful Effects of Antifa. Crisis of America’s Left By Diana Johnstone

24 October 2017 — Global Research

A historic opportunity is being missed. The disastrous 2016 presidential election could and should have been a wakeup call. A corrupt political system that gave voters a choice between two terrible candidates is not democracy.

This should have been the signal to face reality. The U.S. political system is totally rotten, contemptuous of the people, serving the corporations and lobbies that pay to keep them in office. The time had come to organize a genuine alternative, an independent movement to liberate the electoral system from the grip of billionaires, to demand a transition from a war economy to an economy dedicated to improving the lives of the people who live here. What is needed is a movement for the pacification of America, at home and abroad.

The day before the New Hampshire primary, the Washington Post (2/8/16) ran a column headlined:

Bernie Sanders Is No Revolutionary

—written by Dana Milbank, that noted expert on revolutionary movements.

“For a guy running against the establishment, Bernie Sanders sure seems to crave its approval,” wrote Milbank. “Sanders portrays himself as an iconoclast, an anti-politician. But he behaves in many ways like a conventional pol.”
