It took two buffoons like Erdoghan and Trump to make Dr. Assad’s day a very pleasant one.  First, the Turks invaded northeastern Syria ostensibly to block the formation of some tin-pot Kurdish enclave bedecked in the classic style of the bargaining chip the U.S. once needed to impose elections on the Syrian government.  What the U.S. never knew and always concealed was the uncomfortable fact that Dr. Assad was wildly popular and would defeat any candidate pimped up by the U.S. The election gambit was a failure even if it happened.

Trump, facing unprecedented ostracism from his own party, sent his favorite Evangelicals to meet with Erdoghan in the hope the Turkish curmudgeon could be persuaded to halt his illegal invasion of Syria lest he face the usual sleep-inducing Yankee sanctions.  Both Pence and Pompeo, born-again Catholics turned Evangelical, announced their success in convincing the Sultan of Syphilis to stop his foray for a measly five days.  The Turks responded by declaring a “pause” in the fighting.  Americans announced a “cease fire”.

In the meantime, Americans are hustling to get the Kurds to pull away from Turkey’s border creating a 20-mile-deep “security zone” where Ankara can dump its Syrian refugees – all 3.5 million of them!  Turkey wants assurances the Kurds won’t come back as though the creation of an enclave with 3.5 million Syrian Sunnis won’t guarantee a perfect corridor for the Kurds to, once again, attack Anatolia.  Well, look folks, I’m not a party to this crackpot idea.

While all this hurly-burly is going on, the Syrian Army has re-entered Manbij establishing a legal presence, transporting medicine and necessities to a population that was nearly starved to death by the feckless Americans.  Syria was able to accomplish all this by merely waiting for the right confluence of events.  In Al-Raqqa, a huge demonstration by loyal Syrians called for the eradication of all Kurdish and Turkish influence.  The Kurds, in the meanwhile, are “negotiating” for some morsel of autonomy after having all but betrayed the Syrian Army, flag and people. According to my sources, Dr. Assad is getting tired to telling the Kurds “no”.

With the Kurds obsessed with survival in the face of a brutal Turkish-Syrian Sunni onslaught, Iran is having a field day sending vast quantities of goodies to its favorite allies.  And with all that upheaval in Lebanon, it’s getting that much easier.  Note, the Zionist air force is not flying drones or interceptors over Syria to block the Iranian convoys.  It can’t because Russia has warned Mileikowski about a new policy in the air.  But, Mileikowski, has a lot more to worry about now than Iranian shipments to HZB.  He has to worry about his own skin.

Enter Jared Kushner, Trump’s favorite Zionist zealot and son-in-law married to his shiksa daughter, Ivanka.  He’s leading another American delegation to the Zionist Apartheid State to see if he can’t narrow the gap between the two competing candidates for the premiership.  You see, Trump has this love affair with Mileikowski and wants him to stay in power.  It’s the same love affair he has with Kim Jong Un, Erdoghan, Duterte, Bolsonaro,…….and the list goes on.  But, Trump has his own problems to deal with.  Like Mileikowski, he is looking more and more like a wounded goose ready for the proverbial pot.

Now, Dr. Assad has to decide when to hit the Turks to drive them out of Syria.  There is this notion that Turkey has a powerful army.  It would have a powerful army if Erdoghan had not cashiered all his officers.  If appearances mean anything, the Turks are hiding behind the nonexistent Free Syrian Army.  Remember them?

All in all, things are working out pretty nicely now that the United States is following international law by pulling out of Syria.  Some of you might have noticed that the MSM is becoming hysterical over this.  But, this time it’s now all about the Syrian government.  It’s all about America’s wonderful ally, Turk[ey].
