Palestine Action secures the right to legally challenge the UK government

Palestine Action has secured the right to legally challenge the UK government’s decision to designate the group as a terrorist organisation, with the case set to be challenged in November 2025.

UK judge grants permission for Palestine Action to challenge terror ban

Thursday, 31 July 2025 — Al Mayadeen English

The co-founder of a pro-Palestine campaign group won her bid on Wednesday to bring a legal challenge against the UK government’s decision to ban the group under anti-terrorism laws.

Huda Ammori, who co-founded Palestine Action in 2020, asked London’s High Court to approve a full legal challenge to the group’s proscription, which was imposed on the basis that it had committed or participated in acts of terrorism.

Judge Martin Chamberlain granted permission for Ammori to pursue a judicial review, stating that her argument, that the proscription amounts to a disproportionate interference with her and others’ right to freedom of expression, was “reasonably arguable”.

Earlier this month, the High Court rejected Ammori’s request to suspend the ban. Following an unsuccessful last-minute appeal, the proscription of Palestine Action came into force just after midnight on July 5.

Being a member of the group is now a criminal offense, carrying a maximum prison sentence of 14 years.

War on Iran: The Rule, Not Exception, of US Foreign Policy

Thursday, 31 July 2025 — The New Atlas

“The premeditated nature of Washington’s war of aggression against Iran and the way throughout which “negotiations” were used to lower the guard of targeted nations as well as portray the US as an arbiter rather than an aggressor, serve as a warning to nations like Russia and China faced with similar US policies of encirclement and containment.”

Margaret Kimberley, BAR Executive Editor and Senior Columnist

It is true that Barack Obama used the surveillance state apparatus in an effort to undermine the first Donald Trump administration with the Russiagate fraud. What Trump calls “Obamagate” is very real.

It’s approaching 2 years now since US spy tech corporation Palantir signed a contract with the UK’s previous Conservative government, to run the NHS Federated Data Platform.

In that time, the evidence of Palantir’s unsuitability has only increased.

Ukrainian statehood pitted against the citizens of the country

Wednesday, 30 July 2025 — Al Mayadeen English

Ukrainians have a cautionary term for what is taking place today in their country, ‘Don’t dig a hole for someone else, or you’ll fall into it yourself.’ (Al Mayadeen English; Illustration by Zeinab el-Hajj).

    Dmitri Kovalevich

Dmitri Kovalevich argues that modern Ukrainian statehood has turned against its own people, suppressing dissent, provoking wider war, and surviving only through coercion, Western backing, and public relations.

Zionist Spies Innovate AI Sexual Blackmail Tech

    Tuesday, 29 July 2025 — Global Delinquents

    Kit Klarenberg

On July 19th, Ynet announced Israeli artificial intelligence startup Decart “has unveiled a groundbreaking real-time video transformation technology, setting a new benchmark in the fast-evolving field of generative media,” following “months of anticipation and extensive fundraising.” Dubbed Mirage, it “allows continuous transformation of live or pre-recorded video content without interruption, maintaining high quality and impressive stability throughout.” Obvious suspicions arise the tech’s true purpose is to concoct convincing, fabricated kompromat on targets, with no risk of Zionist intelligence being publicly exposed.

Al-Awda doctor to Al Mayadeen: No aid, starving children, and a flood of media lies

Tuesday, 29 July 2025 — Al Mayadeen English

Dr. Rana Zaiter, the head of Clinical Nutrition at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, exposed the reality behind the aid narrative in Gaza, telling Al Mayadeen that not a single shipment of medical supplies has reached the hospital.

She revealed that medical staff are starved and are only kept going by IV fluids. Dr. Zaiter slammed media claims of aid entering Gaza as propaganda, saying what little comes in is often looted or sold at outrageous prices.

“Nothing reaches us,” she emphasized. “It’s all just propaganda.”

Israel’s Dream of Domination: A Utopia Mocked by Reality

Tuesday, 29 July 2025 — New Eastern Outlook

    Viktor Mikhin

Despite Israel’s formidable military capabilities in the Middle East, it undoubtedly cannot establish regional dominance—a status implying absolute superiority over all adversaries and the voluntary submission of neighboring states.

    Netanyahu upset

Netanyahu’s bold claims of transforming Israel into an unshakable regional ruler sound like a fantasy detached from reality. His ambitions are not strategic calculations but dangerous illusions, ridiculed by history and debunked by the very logic of Middle Eastern conflict.

Revealed: How Palestine Action was banned

The UK government was secretly advised that Palestine Action is “highly unlikely” to advocate for violence while officials struggled to produce evidence the group posed a national security threat, it can be revealed.

Despite this, the activist group was banned earlier this month when Home Secretary Yvette Cooper proscribed it under terrorism legislation.

Can the Poorer Nations Build a New Architecture for Development and Sovereignty?: The Thirtieth Newsletter (2025)

    Thursday, 24 July 2025 — The Tricontinental

    Dear friends,

Greetings from the desk of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research.

A horrifying statistic hovers over the poorer nations: 3.4 billion people now live in countries that spend more on interest payments for public debt than on education or health. In 2024, according to a new report from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), global public debt reached $102 trillion – a third of which is held by developing countries. The impact on these countries is especially severe: credit markets charge poorer nations far higher interest rates than they do richer nations, making debt servicing payments proportionately higher for the Global South. The United States, for instance, pays interest rates that are, on average, two to four times lower than those faced by poorer nations.

GM Watch Daily Digest 28 July 2025

    Monday, 28 July 2025 — GM Watch

2024, another year contaminated by illegal GMOs

In 2024, the EU once again recorded alerts about GMO contamination. Of the 24 alerts, the vast majority concerned unauthorised GM rice, but also papaya, soy, flax and maize. Two cases of contamination by GM microorganisms were also reported, one of which even forced the Belgian authorities to issue a public statement recalling a product. In three cases, the nature of the illegal GMO was not specified. One GM maize, one flax, two papayas and one soybean were also found in 2024, either on European territory or at its border. The countries of origin of these contaminations are geographically diverse, including Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Thailand. As with the cases of rice contamination, GM papaya from Thailand has been a long-standing contaminant in Europe, with the first cases reported in 2004 following an alert by Greenpeace. However, it is rarer for illegally present GM papaya to come from Mexico, a country where, like Thailand, no GM papaya is authorised for cultivation. Inf’OGM (French language article)

Handala flotilla crew leave messages behind on the chance of being kidnapped by ‘Israel’

Monday, 28 July 2025 — Al Mayadeen English

The crew of the Handala aid ship bound for Gaza left behind recordings in case they were kidnapped and detained by Israeli occupation forces.

All 21 crew members had one unified message: exert pressure on their governments to demand their release as well as their companions.

The unarmed civilians, carrying aid to Gaza, including life-saving aid, food, baby formula, medicine, and soft toys, were illegally kidnapped in international waters by the Israeli occupation’s navy forces.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition urged, “Demand your government end its complicity in Israeli war crimes, ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and call for the immediate release of all crew members.”
