Pushing the Limits

Tuesday, 31 May 2022 — The Van Says…

For all the talk of the ruble being rubble, over the last two months, the ruble has rubbished the West

Preamble

Drastic changes have taken place in the world over the last three months, and many of them are happening outside of Eastern Europe. This article will examine a number of issues concerned with the Ukraine but not necessarily having a direct bearing in the happenings currently taking place there.

Ukraine: War Within the War: The Fight Over Land and Genetically Engineered Agriculture

Tuesday, 31 May 2022 — CovertAction Magazine

By Mitchel Cohen

[Source: orientalreview.org]

Soon we shall be covered by wheat.
Did you say, wheat?
Wheat, wheat. – from Woody Allen’s ‘Love and Death’[1]

Ten months before Russian troops poured into Ukraine, that country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bill into law authorizing the private sale of farmland, reversing a moratorium that had been in place since 2001.

A lot of cross-posting usually indicates that the article is popular and some links may not work, depending on your location but I’ve kept them anyway, so at least the reader has some idea of the scale of censorship now operating in the ‘democratic’ West.

The secret, US-financed Ukrainian military programs

Tuesday, 31 May 2022 — Voltaire Network

by Thierry Meyssan

In 2016, the United States committed to arming Ukraine to fight and win a war against Russia. Subsequently, the US Department of Defense organized a biological research program in Ukraine, and then huge amounts of nuclear fuel were secretly transferred to the country. These data change the interpretation of this war: it was not wanted and prepared by Moscow, but by Washington.

Disquiet at Davos and the Unsaid Fear of Failure – The First Shoots of a U.S. Ukraine Shift

Monday, 30 May 2022 — Strategic Culture Foundation

Alastair Crooke

The unspoken fear disquieting Davos attendees is the fear of another débacle, following that of Afghanistan.

Klaus Schwab, passionate for Ukraine, essentially configured the World Economic Forum (WEF) to showcase Zelensky and to leverage the argument that Russia should be kicked out of the civilised world. Schwab’s target was the assembled crème de la crème of the world’s business leaders assembled there. Zelensky pitched big: “We want more sanctions and more weapons”; “All trade with the aggressor should be stopped”; “All foreign business should leave Russia so that your brands are not associated with war crimes”, he said. Sanctions must be all encompassing; values must matter.

Data shenanigans as Sweden misleads its public over vaccination-related mortality data

Sunday, 29 May 2022 — HART

Which other countries are playing the same game?

In December 2021 Norman Fenton, Martin Neil, Clare Craig, Josh Geutzkow, Joel Smalley, Scott McLachlan and Jonathan Engler published an article casting doubt on the vaccine efficacy implied by the UK’s official mortality statistics as they related to vaccination status, raising miscategorisation of vaccinated deaths soon after injection as unvaccinated as a possible significant factor.

Covid-19 : the Evidence Now

Sunday, 29 May 2022 — HART

What have we learned?

It is over two years since the first lockdown and now more than a year since HART published its paper COVID-19: an overview of the evidence. We asked all the original authors to go back and review their article and update with relevant publications, revising their conclusions as appropriate. These chapters spelled out either evidence of harms from the pandemic policies or theoretical concerns.

A year later the evidence is coming in and it is damning.  This ‘updates’ series will hopefully form part of HART’s evidence to the Independent Review.

Gruesome Goings-On

Monday, 30 May 2022 — The Van Says…

Every blog post needs a good photo, but regarding those who have fallen and been abandoned, there are no good photos

Preamble

Since Russia’s Special Operation in the Ukraine began in February, a multitude of reports have been made regarding both mass graves as well as the manner in which the Ukrainian Armed Forces abandon their dead in battle. The investigation concerning mass graves is currently ongoing in the Ukraine, Donbass Republics and Russia, yet the callous way in which Kiev treats not only those on the battlefield who have paid the ultimate price, but also their family members is a matter that needs to be examined in more depth.

Ukraine is a millstone around Europe’s neck

Sunday, 29 May 2022 — Indian Punchline

by M. K. BHADRAKUMAR

“Brotherly friends”: Ukrainian President Zelensky (R) and visiting Polish President Andrzej Duda, Kiev, May 22, 2022

The fallout of the war in Ukraine over Europe is largely seen in terms of the uncertainties over the continent’s heavy dependence on Russian energy and the impact of it on the economies of the 27 EU member countries. Imposing restrictions on Russian oil has proven a much more complicated task than imagined previously.

Operation Z

Saturday, 28 May 2022 — The Van Says…

Three months of Operation Z have changed Eastern Europe forever. And for the better. Photo©️IntelSlavaZ

Preamble

It is a little over three months since Russia began its Special Military Operation in the Ukraine and in that time, much has been written concerning both Russia and the Ukraine, but also the affects and effects that are being felt from further afield. Many articles have through necessity covered individual events and the minutiae of the situation, yet after so much has happened, we need to piece things together in order to understand the bigger picture. The sheer number of events and their impact in the overall situation mean that this report is rather longer than normal.

MSM Offers Rare Glimpse Into How Bad Things Are Really Going For Ukrainian Forces - featured image

Listen to a reading of this article:

While everyone’s focused on the latest mass shooting in the US, The Washington Post published what may be the first major acknowledgement from the mainstream western media that Ukraine’s war against Russia has not been nearly the cakewalk they’ve been leading the public to believe.
