The reaction to the performance was astonishing. Many people were watching us live and shared their thoughts. For the musicians this was a very unique experience. We played in an empty club, yet communicated in real time with so many people around the world.
This recording will stay online for a day or two to allow as many of you to enjoy the music as possible.

The extraordinary, trailblazing career of jazz titan and influential composer Charlie Parker will be celebrated by award winning saxophonist Gilad Atzmon augmented by the Sigamos String Quartet commemorating the 100th anniversary of his birth (August 29, 1920)
Unclassifiable, charismatic, a central figure on the British and world jazz scenes, Gilad Atzmon performs a homage to arguably the greatest saxophonist in jazz history, Charlie Parker.
