“It is a fucking feminist system that’s doing this,” said UKIP leader Carl Benjamin while commenting on a mass murder case by a man rejected by women sexually.

A candidate from the UK Independence Party (UKIP) said that feminism is the reason for femicides. According to Carl Benjamin, the UKIP candidate for the May 23 European Union elections, men are murdering women en masse because they felt disenfranchized and are “out of options.”

It doesn’t actually matter if Ukrainian-Israeli billionaire Igor Kolomoisky is the real power behind Volodymyr Zelensky – the president elect has to get rid of the oligarch if he is to make a break with the country’s corrupt past.

The plots, deceits and conflicts of interest in Ukrainian politics are so transparent and hyperbolic, that to say that novice politician Zelensky was a protégé of his long-time employer was not something that required months of local investigative journalism – it was just out there.

In the USA of 2019, truth itself has become a radical act, and to be motivated by belief, instead of profit and corporate power, is to say the least, rare. Chelsea Elizabeth Manning is indeed one of those rare examples of a 21st century truth teller who has been jailed once again – having already served seven years in Leavenworth, two years in solitary – for standing up for what she believes. That Manning, who transitioned into womanhood behind bars, was taken into custody and locked down again on International Women’s Day, is almost overwhelming.

Police arrest over 1,000 climate change protesters in London By Robert Stevens

More than 1,000 people have been arrested in London over the last seven days of climate change protests organised by the Extinction Rebellion (XR) group.

Protesters continued to peacefully occupy public spaces in the capital, including Parliament Square, Piccadilly Circus, Waterloo Bridge, Oxford Circus and Marble Arch, despite mounting and provocative police arrests. On Saturday, 200 extra police from neighbouring forces were demanded by the Metropolitan Police to deal with the protesters. Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick declared, “Every day we have had over 1,000 officers—and now over 1,500 officers.”
